It was so hot we spent a lot of the week just reading and enjoying Bear Run. You have done a wonderful job equipping and furnishing everything that is needed. Don loved the up/down driving! I have motion sickness so I preferred sitting at the top! Went to Cades Cove and back through the “secret passage!” We’ll leave that way tomorrow. A wonderful memorable week. 10-22 to 10-25-07 We loved the vacation cabin. It was just like the pictures and more. We enjoyed our few days of fall break, two teachers and a 12 and 9-year old. Cades Cove was worth the drive. We made it to New Found Gap in the park but not to Clingman’s Dome. We shopped the outlets and enjoyed some different food, deep-fried dill pickles! We have never visited this area in the fall but it may become a new destination! The trees seemed to be at near peak for color changing. When you get to Wears Valley Road via Happy Hollow Road, turn left and watch for Lyons Spring Road on the right. It will take you right to the middle of Little River Road in the park. Laurel Falls & Elkmont will be to the left and Cades Cove to the right. So now you have it all.
