Creekside Chalet

Secluded log chalet nestled between the mountains and the creek.  Hot tub under the stars just outside the bedroom.  Gated wrap around deck where only the deer and turkey will know you are there. If you are looking for privacy, this is the place.  No other cabins within half a mile. Set off the driveway across the creek on 141 acres backing up to the Cherokee National Forest - 565,000 acres -with a section of the Appalachian Trail on the ridge behind the cabin.

Deer, turkey, and other wildlife abound - enjoy watching them or during the season, hunt right out from your back door.

Ceiling fans create a gentle breeze in the warmer weather while the Franklin stove creates heat or ambience in the living room, the bedroom, or outside on the deck.

The ktchen has the basics: coffee, tea, condiments, flour, sugar and an initial supply of paper towels and toilet paper.  If the previous guests leave something in the freezer or sealed, it's yours to use or toss as you want.

A 2 mile hiking trail takes you to a ridge overlooking the surrounding mountains and a shorter trail winds along the creek and into the woods.  The quiet of the forest will lower your blood pressure and help you slow down and relax.
