Appalachian Retreat is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home - newly renovated in 2005. Hidden in the trees on Appalachian Ski Mountain, the home blends into its natural surroundings with the khaki and burgundy wine exterior.

At over 1600 square feet, the home offers luxurious mountain living with two decks, two gas fireplaces, two living rooms, all new appliances, indoor jacuzzi tub, brand new four seater hot tub, and 5 TVs. Walk inside to earth-tone colors surrounding hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings with exposed rafters, plush furniture set against warm wood, ample lighting with recessed fixtures, designer sconces, and table lamps, and designer touches such as artisan glass vases. Home has wireless broadban internet and free long distance.

The open great room is perfect for entertaining with a living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room sports a floor-to-ceiling, stone-stacked, gas fireplace, a comfortable loveseat and couch, and a large coffee table set on a very plush rug. The kitchen offers bar seating for four at the kitchen island, which houses the deep stainless steel sink inset into black, granite countertops and custom-designed cabinets. All new appliances include a flat-top range, refigerator with door water and ice, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and toaster. Dine at the four-top wood table with bamboo placemats.

Enjoy the sounds of nature on the private back deck. Complete with gas grill, table for four, and two loungers.

The deck can also be accessed from the master bedroom. The high ceilings extend into this suite, with a queen bed, private bath with tiled walk-in shower, and his & hers closets. In keeping with the other bedrooms, the master offers a small TV, bedside table with lamp, natural wood furniture, and ceiling fan, and at least two windows.

Downstairs bedrooms (first with a queen and second with two twins) share a full bathroom with one-person Jacuzzi tub, plenty of storage, and stacked washer/dryer).

Downstairs living room has a beautiful over-sized wing backed chair, comfy loveseat, and bench to watch flat-screen TV or use the Sony Playstation. Closet has iron and ironing board. You can also access the downstairs deck from the living room.
