Oakpoint is 12 miles to the entrance to Acadia National Park , the park offers a free shuttle service avaliable 5 miles from Oakpoint ( free parking for your vehicle) at the local supermarket. Avaliable also within 5 miles LOBSTER pounds , fresh fish markets , locally grown produce ,and homemade baked goods . Swim in the salt water , walk the beach , pick up mussels , dig clams , go boating , or just sit on your deck watching the hummingbirds feed in the window boxes while you relax with a wonderful book.  I just know that you also will love my little piece of heaven on earth , please come to relax and enjoy your not long enough late spring , summmer ,or fall vacation, perhaps all three.
