Bears' Den

Bear's Den is a privately owned and managed upscale, yet cozy mountain vacation home. It is nestled high in the treetops with a magnificant view of the Cohutta Mountains. Over an acre, it offers a full wooded retrest, making it great for exploring or watching the deer go by. While quiet and seculded, Bear's Den is a new A-Frame cabin, which features a stacked floor to cieling river rock fireplace with a log mantel, knotty pine floors, along with a soaring knotty pine cieling. With nearly 1100 square feet, Bear's Den boasts 2 bedrooms, one of which is a loft, 2 full bathrooms, dining area and a covered deck with cieling fans. The open deck offers a Jacuzzi hot tub and a gas grill. You can watch a movie on any of the 3 flat screen TV's connected to Direct TV.Its a perfect get-away, only 90 miles north of Atlanta, and only 4 miles from historic Blue Ridge which offers dining, antiques, art galleries, ice cream parlors and home made fudge. You can even take an old-fashioned Scenic Railway Train into Tennessee.This is truely a nature lover's paradise. Aska Adventure Area on the Toccoa River offers hiking, biking, fishing, white water rafting and canoeing. Cherry Log Mountain itself has 3 lakes for fishing and canoeing.
