Here's some information about The Key Largo (luxury) Vacation Rental Home for you: 

 Our home is at Mile marker 104. (Everything in the Keys goes by the "mm") Since the Keys are long but very narrow, you can figure out where everything is by the mm. Key West starts at 0 and goes up from there. So we are 104 miles from Key West.  Approx 45 minutes from Miami.

We are on the Ocean on an approx 1 acre "Point Lot" (The property is on beautiful Largo Sound ).  We are located where the Ocean meets "The Cross Keys Canal". So it is lots of fun watching the boats, kayaks, and jet skis go by.  The backyard is a great place to swim, snorkel, scuba dive, kayak, canoe, jet ski, etc... (We have a jet ski you can rent). There is an area where you can walk right down into the water. The fishing is also great right off the dock. The dock is a large concrete dock (may dock up to 8 boats). There is a table and chairs to sit on the dock and relax or fish, etc.... There is also a fish station to cut up the catches of the day.

The home is 5300 adjusted sq ft plus wrap around balconies and patios.

Has 4 floors with private elevator. 5 bedrooms/6 baths. Sleeps 10-12 people. Brand new marble flooring throughout.

First floor: garage, patios, bath, mud room, utiltiy room with washer/dryer, storage, foyer. and recreational room.

2nd floor: Open floor plan for social area and all rooms with beautiful water views of blue. 2 living rooms (50" large flat plasma TV) formal dining, large brand new gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar. Features New wood cabinets, High end stainless appliances (double ovens,wine cooler), exotic granite counters, and water views. There is also 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths (each room with french doors and patio).

3rd floor : Large Master bedroom (walls of glass) with King size bed and separate sitting area. Also private covered patio. Large Marble Masterbath with separate glass shower, jacuzzi tub, and double sinks. 3rd floor also has 5th bedroom (private patio) and additional bath.

4th floor: Spacious sun decks/patios. We are putting in a jacuzzi tub soon so that you can sip a glass of wine while enjoying beautiful water views and ocean breezes.

Relax by the lagoon shaped tropical pool and waterfall spa with a "Pina Colada" Or sit in the hammock and watch the boats wiz by while working on your tan underneath the Coconut Trees.  This latest addition to the property is expected to be completed by June '07!  Fantastic!

Water Activities:

Lots of outdoor activities here in the Florida Keys.  Excellent sport deep water fishing. Bring your boat or charter one.  Fish galore! Bone fish, tarpon, grouper, mahi-mahi, Marlin, & lots more....  Boat and jet ski available from your own private dock.  Private boat ramp and swimming area.  Snorkel or Dive nearby or off the dock.  Bicycle rental facilities nearby.  There are beaches, parks, tennis courts, movie theatre, gym, and shopping nearby too!

The "Wild Bird Sanctuary" of the Florida Keys is close, along with the "Theatre of the Sea".  Here you can "Swim with the Dolphins,Sea Lions, Snorkel with Sting Rays, and see a variety of exciting shows featuring the marine life as the stars!" Acres of lush tropical gardens are home to sea turtles, tropical and game fish, crocodilians, parrots, & more.......

There is the Key Largo Pool/Park (mm 100) about 10 min away. Has great pools for kids and adults. Water slides, Diving , Kids play area, Pirate ship, Water squirters, etc.. Adjacent to the pool is a park area with courts, skate park, playground, etc.

There is also the John Pennecamp Coral Reef State park and beach (mm 102.5) about 5-8 min away. Features include a living coral reef, the underwater bronze statue "Christ of the Deep", two Beaches, a boardwalk through a mangrove area, and a visitor center with an aquarium. Snorkel, Sail- and - snorkel, scuba, glass bottom boat tours are available along with kayak and canoe rentals. They also have tour boats, dive classes, .

SunCruz Casino:

(mm 100) For only $10 per person they have a Casino Evening Cruises at 5 or 7:30pm. This sails out of the Hoiday Inn and dinner may be purchased (305) 451-0000.

Shopping and Theatre:

Approx 20 min to the South in Tavenier there is a movie theatre and shopping center. However, within 5-8 min there are other shopping centers, grocery stores, sovenier shoppes, library, etc....

Dining: 

There are great restaurants (most with sunset water views & music).  Don't leave without visiting Islamorada's Holiday Isle for lots of Live Tropical Reggee Music and Famous "Rum Runners" frozen island drinks.    

Within 5-10 min there is waterfront (Sundowners) dining and a mix of other restaurants anywhere between affordable to more expensive dining. (The Keys are known for the seafood, Conch chowder/fritters, Key lime Pie, etc).....

Islamorada:

(mm 84) (15-20 min south) This is a fishing haven spread over islands. Great fun and partying at the Hoiday Isle Tiki Bar (features live entertainment, pools and beaches, helecopter rides) (Know for there frozen drinks Rum Runners and Miami Vice).

There is also sightseeing:

"Indian Key Historic State Park", "Ligumvitae Botanical State Park", "The Matheson House" (built of Coral Rock in 1919), and "Theatre of the Sea" (Live performances by dolphins and sea lions, guided tour of the marine life exhibits, "bottomless" boat trips. You may also choose to "Swim with the Dolphins". From what I understand this is a once in a lifetime experience!

Key West

(100 miles south/approx couple hours drive): The southernmost city in the U.S. in a great day trip. Once served as an operation base against pirates. Home at various times to Ernest Hemingway, Tennessee Williams, Robert Frost, Key West remains a popular retreat for artists and writers. Key West has a quaint but tropical vive. Lots of sightseeing, biking, street fairs, sunset "Mallory Square" street performers, Conch Tour Train, Lots and lots and lots of bars and restarants (many open air and outdoors). Public beaches etc...

Miami and Miami Beach:

(45 -60 min) : Miami International Airport, Theatre and Performing Arts, Parrot Jungle, Miami Seaquarium, Florida City Outlet Mall (25 min away), South Beach, etc......
