The house has a large patio, two gates; one opens to the beach walk and the other to the one way street. The house has 3 levels; on the first level you’ll find: a full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove top, a marble sink and cabinets. There is a one bedroom with a queen size bed, one full bathroom with shower and tub, the dinning and the living room are connected with large windows and vast views to the bay. On the second floor there is a large deck over looking the bay and 3 bedrooms named by the color of the beds: the green bedroom has two twin beds and two large windows over looking the bay, the yellow bedroom has a queen size bed and the blue bedroom has 2 bunk beds that sleep 4, great for kids! There is a full bathroom with shower. The upper floor has 3 rooms, one is a storage room and the others are bedrooms, sleeps 3. At this point they are not included in the rent unless some one requests them. This house was built by my grandfather. I have many wonderful memories of warm summers running out from the house and jumping, literally, into the beach. Now my siblings and I would like to offer you the opportunity to build your own memories on a place that is heaven on earth.
The house on the Bay Shore is located in Panxón, (Pontevedra, Spain.) Panxón is a vibrant small village located on the northwest coast of Spain, twenty minutes away from northern Portugal. It has its own charm and character. It’s very well known for the exquisite quality of the sea food and excellent culinary restaurants. In near by Madorra, just a half a mile away, there is a natural health food store to help vegetarians and special diets find a place to fit in. The church, that stands tall and proud on top of a hill top, is a land mark of beauty and style for Panxón. The bay is absolutely beautiful.
Panxon is only an hour away from Santiago de Compostela, an internationally famous pilgrim spot. It’s also close to Celtic cities, museums and many places of interest.
The house on the Bay Shore sits at a the base of a smooth, white sandy beach that stretches for 5 miles in the shape of a half moon . The evening walks are magical as the sun touches the tranquil waters of the bay transforming the ocean and the sky in vivid colors of yellows and reds. This beach if famous for its safety and clean waters. There is only one rock that appears and disappears as the ocean moves majestically up and down the beach. This rock stands almost across from the house. The waves are rhythmic and gentle, adding comfort and joy to those who like playing and swimming in its waters.
The house has a 180 degree view of one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Right across from the house and on the other side of the bay there is a splendid castle from the XV century in a village call Bayona la Real . It has been remodel and the two stone walls protecting the castle enclose beautiful gardens, woods as well as an international yacht club and two restaurants. As you look to your right you’ll see the traditional Galician harbor and a splendid mountain that is crowned by a granite stone statue, so tall that it seems to touch the sky, of the Virgin Mary holding a boat as a symbol of protection for the local fisherman. On the left the ample beach turns like a half moon before your eyes giving an expansive view of the ocean.
