A. One Great Vacation allows the renter the freedom to search for desired properties in a myriad of ways. The most convenient however, involves our detailed homepage map. Click on the state where you’d like to visit, and then select your destination city of choice. Can’t find the city you’re looking for? Simply, contact one of our personal vacation assistants at info@onegreatvacation.com for more information.
Q. How can I get in touch with the property owner?
A. Once you’ve chosen a rental that best suits your vacation, you can contact the owner for more information. One Great Vacation supplies you with two options for getting in touch with the property owner. Each rental page has an “Email Owner” and “Call Owner” tab featured to the right of the listing. Click on either option and you’ll be one step closer to getting the answers you seek from the property owner.
Q. I have recently added or made a change to my property but I can not find it?
A. Most times you will be able to go to the State page and click refresh. All of our pages are cached in your browser, but if this still does not work you may have to wait upwards of 24 hours. This does not mean that your property is not being shown; you just may not be able to view.
Q. I have lost or forgot my username or password?
A. Send an email to help@onegreatvacation.com with the title being “Owners Login” and a customer service reprehensive will be in contact with you to verify your Personal Protection Question.
Q. How do I remove or Edit my Listings.
A. After Logging in from the Owners page click Edit to make adjustments or Remove to delete your listing.
Q. Why can’t I view my properties photos I just uploaded?
A. Don’t be alarmed, the photos have been uploaded, however, they may be “cached” in your internet browser and would require a “page refresh”. Press the F5 Button on your keyboard to perform a “page refresh”. On a rare occasion some ISP’s cache servers may take 24 hours to refresh the most recent updates on One Great Vacation’s servers. One thing to note is that if your photos are viewable on the Owner’s Login page, than they are available for countless renters to view on the property’s listing page.
Q. How do I change my properties photos?
A. One Great Vacation gives you the ability to constantly update your properties photos. Login to your personal owner’s page and select “Update Photos” Click the Browse button and search your computer for the photos you wish to appear on the listing page. Once selected, click the “Update Now” button and in a few short seconds, the page should refresh with the updated photo index. Still having technical difficulties? Q. How many photos can be displayed on my property page?
A. While other sites subscribe to “less is more”, at One Great Vacation, we believe “the more, the better.” We allow up to 12 high resolution photos on each property page. We also don’t enforce a specific size requirement for any uploaded photos.
Q. How can I avoid S.P.A.M.?
A. One Great Vacation employs a strict policy against any SPAM email. We have implemented a targeted filtering process to help eliminate any SPAM emails from being delivered. If you have received a SPAM email via a One Great Vacation inquiry, please contact one of our personal vacation assistants at info@onegreatvacation.com and we will work to ensure that it does not occur a second time.
Q. Should I accept overpayment from a renter?
A. We suggest at all times you only accept the exact payment for your properties rental. You may receive an inquiry from a renter wishing to overpay the rental fee, and have you wire back the difference. This inquiry 99.9% of the time is a fraud. We recommend you delete the email, and alert one of our personal vacation assistants to the situation. At One Great Vacation, we want you to feel secure in all your business transactions, therefore we go above and beyond to help solve any problems as quickly as possible.
